Veneers are thin shells of ceramic or composite that cover the front surface of a tooth. They change the colour, shape and small irregularities of your teeth – without braces and with minimal intervention. Veneers at DentiClinic are done by MDDr. Peter Loderer, who focuses on aesthetic dentistry. We treat patients in English.
When veneers are a good choice

How the treatment works
- Consultation and design. We check your teeth, gums and bite and agree on shape and shade. You receive a plan with prices.
- Preparation. For ceramic veneers we gently prepare the teeth and take impressions; composite is shaped directly in your mouth.
- Placement. Ceramic veneers are bonded at the second visit, composite veneers are finished the same day.

How much does a veneer cost in Bratislava?
At DentiClinic a ceramic veneer costs €480 including impressions and bonding. A direct composite veneer costs €180 with Slovak insurance and €200 without.
Ceramic or composite veneers – what is the difference?
Ceramic veneers are made in a dental laboratory and keep their colour and shine very well. Composite veneers are shaped directly in your mouth in one visit and are more affordable.
Do my teeth need to be ground down?
Usually only minimally, in a thin layer of enamel. How much depends on the shape and position of the tooth – we tell you before treatment.
