Does health insurance contribute to an implant?
An implant is generally not covered by public health insurance. Your insurer does cover the preventive check-up and, for example, a tooth extraction.
Does implant placement hurt?
We place implants under local anaesthesia, so you do not feel pain during the procedure. The area may be tender for a few days afterwards; common painkillers help.
How long does the whole treatment take?
From placement to the final crown it usually takes several months, while the implant fuses with the bone. You receive the exact timeline at the consultation.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes, through Quatro. You choose the length of repayment yourself; we explain the terms together with your treatment plan.
Is an implant suitable for everyone?
The examination and X-ray decide. The amount of bone, healthy gums and your general health matter. If an implant is not suitable, we suggest another solution, for example a bridge.
